Creative people don't follow rules, they don't necessarily break them either, they almost always make their own.

Pastels

 For this pastel project we started with black construction paper.  Then, outlined the parrots, filled with white oil pastel for a base.  Added the desired colors to the parrot. It was super easy and best of all super fun.
